Looks like she's had a change of heart!
Former Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan is dropping two of the most extreme claims from her lawsuit against her former DH employers, creator Marc Cherry, Touchstone Television, and ABC.
Back in April, Sheridan sued Cherry, Touchstone, and ABC, for $20 million, alleging assault and battery, emotional distress, gender violence, and wrongful termination. ABC responded that all of her claims were "without merit."
In regards to her physical injury and emotional distress claims, ABC required that she submit a physical and psychiatric evaluation, however, Sheridan has dropped those claims so she will no longer need to fulfill their evaluation request.
She still alleges though, that her physical injury claims are valid, but she wants to "streamline" the case.
Something seems a little fishy here.

Add TV Producer to Will Smith's resume.
The actor is developing a new hour-long drama set in China for Fox.
Smith has partnered with Chinese-born filmmaker Eva Jin to work on the project, which focuses on a crime-fighting female college student.
That actually sounds really cool.
Smith is also developing a TV series based on his 2005 film, Hitch, with Overbrook Entertainment.
Hmm, these two TV ideas actually sound like they might succeed. Is there anything the Smith family CAN'T do??

Aw, that's too bad! And so close to the holidays too. Bummer.

Two Members Leave Paramore

Wow, this is unfortunate.
Guitarist Josh Farro and his brother, drummer Zac Farro, have left Paramore.
The band posted this announcement on their official website on Saturday:
"A couple of months ago, Josh and Zac let us know they would be leaving the band after our show in Orlando last Sunday [December 12, at the House Of Blues venue]. None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore.
We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn't here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere."
Members Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis, and Taylor York remain in the band and explained that they will not be splitting up. "We never for a second thought about leaving any of this behind," they wrote. "We really hope that you can be encouraged by the fact that the three of us who are still here are ready to take on another chapter of our journey..
together."
The band still continues to tour South America in February and March 2011.
Wowsa. They're not even sugar-coating things. Inneresting.
We're a little shocked. What do U think, Paramore fans?

Britney Spears Inspired Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘Country Strong’

Pop Princess Britney Spears headed into Marmalade Cafe for lunch on September 22, 2010 in Calabasas, California. Britney will be featured in next week s episode of Glee and she seems to be very excited about the event as she took to her twitter about her special show. The Hit Me Baby One More Time songstress looked great in a pink top, dark jean pants, pair of brown boots and her hair seems to have improved slightly but the different lengths constantly separate from her extensions. Fame Pictures, Inc
Writer-director Shana Feste has revealed that Britney Spears‘ real-life troubles inspired Gwyneth Paltrow‘s character in new movie Country Strong.
Paltrow plays country singer Kelly Canter in the movie, a struggling addict fresh out of rehab who attempts to resurrect her career.
Feste tells the Los Angeles Times that she used Spears’ public 2008 meltdown as inspiration when penning the script for the movie.
“That’s where this movie came from. I mean, I was seeing what was happening in the media to Britney Spears,” she tells the Times.
“I finished the script when Michael Jackson passed away..
I think it’s tragic how we treat people who give us so much, and we love to see them knocked down to build them back up again, to knock them down again.
“It’s a weird fascination.”
Wonder what Spears makes of this.
I haven’t seen the movie, but I’m assuming Paltrow’s character prevails and shines on in the end. Just like Spears, who, incidentally, is dropping her hew new album in March.
