SRK, Hrithik in Dubai for New Year

Where will you spot them in the city?

Close friends Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan will ring in 2011 right here in Dubai with a starry celebration. SRK, of course, owns a luxurious home on The Palm and that's where the party is planned. Karan Johar will also be joining the Khans and Roshans for the bash.

The group also includes Chunky Pandey, Gauri's buddy Kajal Anand, and it seems Arjun Rampal and his family are also trying to make it to the UAE to join them.

And what did SRK have to say about the New Year? "To new beginnings. Have a healthy, happy & fulfilling new chapter. May all your troubles be as shortlived as your New Year resolutions. Love," the star posted on his Twitter page.

Meanwhile, before the New Years party begins, Hrithik will be busy teaching his kids Hridaan and Hrehaan snow-boarding at Ski Dubai, Mall of the Emirates. It seems the young Roshans had been wanting to learn snow-boarding for a while now, and their dad just had to give in to their wishes. Think SRK and Gauri's kids Aryan and Suhana will join them? Could be!

First there were all those stories about why Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif wouldn't come out in the open about their relationship. There was the Salman Khan ex-factor of course. And now it seems that there isn't a relationship left to talk about. Buzz is that Ranbir and Katrina have broken up.

We hear that Ranbir has been getting closer to his 'Rockstar' heroine Nargis Fakhri and that's apparently led to Katrina becoming less important in his life. Rumour is that Ranbir is even planning on spending the New Year with the new woman in his life. He's said to have invited Nargis for family celebrations at his sister Riddhima's house in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Katrina is slowly getting back into Salman's life. For a while, she'd been absent from all Khan family events, including Arpita and Sohail Khan's birthdays. But when it came to Salman's birthday, Kat actually went to his house to wish him a day before. You can check out those pictures right here.

Salman is spending New Years in Dubai with his family, and Katrina might just be joining them for the party.

Are Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif back together? Well, they're certainly close enough to have spent his birthday together right here in Dubai. We'd told you about how Salman, his family and close friends including Sajid Nadiadwala flew into the city to celebrate his birthday on December 27. And when it came to the actual party, Katrina joined the group.

Salman celebrated his birthday at Caramel Restaurant and Lounge with his family and Kat for company. The party went on till 2am, and Sallu and the group enjoyed themselves so much that they said they would be returning before they left thecity on January 3. On the menu for the stars were...
Caramel's signature dishes including Miso Glazed Black Cod, Seared Kobe Beef Carpaccio, Yellowtail Sashimi, Mac & Cheese sticks, and Chicken Shawarma Bites and Signature Chicken Lollipops.

After that cool party bonding, it does look like all's well once again with Salman and Katrina. And if she's spending the New Year with him as well, like we've heard, then we might be looking at a good and proper making up here!

Joanna, 33, who's married to Emmerdale actor James Thornton, 35, is currently appearing in panto in Dick Whittington in Milton Keynes.
'I love the singing and dancing,' she says. 'We're doing 9 To 5, In The Navy, Don't Stop Believin'... When else do I get the chance to be up on stage singing and dancing?'
Husband James proposed on Christmas Day eight years ago and is a real romantic - bringing Joanna breakfast in bed every day.

He adores her, even when she's wearing dodgy underwear.
'Once he saw me in these Spanx that had a split crotch!' she reveals.
'I thought: "How could I get something so unattractive and put a split crotch in it as well?"
'I'd bought them because I was panicking about this really gorgeous Armani dress that I had for the BAFTAs.
'The back came down really low and it was really flimsy material, so I bought some Spanx knickers that came up really high and then I had to cut them so they wouldn't show.
